I know some of you will be thinking that just because I’m feeling better after a short dose of the flu (Man Flu), that it is no good reason to be blasphemous by using a picture of Jesus Christ rising from the dead to illustrate my point. You are quiet right…but its done now…sorry. Anyway to be honest I was probably more ill than he was.
Its great being healthy. I love it and will be having lots more of it. Happily it coincided with my first gardening gig of the year outside of the Higgledy Gardens…
This entailed a ‘garden buff up’ for a shockingly beautiful Indian couple. Her with big toffee eyes and children dripping off arms and hips and him with his Elvis hair, bindi and glittery blue sandals. They were a joy to be around and were probably sent by the Hindi God Ganesh in order to give my gardening season an auspicious start. Thanks Mr G. Needless to say the couple were delighted and have promised to pass my number on to all the other Hindi Gods and Goddesses who find themselves living in the Fulbourn area of Cambridge.
Buying seeds tomorrow! Yey…bring it on. Meeting with Captain Oli at 10am at the Railway Cottage to discuss and purchase all our annual seeds for the season. I will update on this tomorrow. I know you’re all on the edge of your seats for that. ;)
Later in the week I’ve got a few more gardening jobs and a visit to the wildacre boutique flower farm on a spying mission, I shall be disguised as…well…me to be honest…{note to self…work on disguises} Naturally I shall update on this when it happens…can’t wait to have a nose around there. Belinda will no doubt be making her wonderful jewelry at this time of year…check out her site…its a brilliant blog with amazing photos.
I hope you lot are all well and healthy too. Here’s to a fantastic week.
Peace out dudes!

Do you have a bit on your web-site about the gardening work you offer? I think a lot of people look on the web for gardeners now. Apologies if it is there and I have missed it! Lovely to see you back to good health again :)

Pleased to hear you are well again and looking after the gardens of Cambridge. Too cold for my daily trip to the greenhouse today. Have been tidying and pot washing and putting compost in rootrainers ready for some veg and sweet peas. Always think that word (rootrainers) looks odd, like something to do with antipodean footwear, but the other version(roottrainers) just looks wrong too. Anyway, they work well and you get good root systems going. Found some seedlings that have survived the winter so they got potted on too, just need to find the label now! Will probably blame the mice-have trapped two already. Feels cold enough to snow again…

You are in luck, fortunately for you I had 4 kids howling for cake today, and there is some left over! Wondering if the yellow shirt in yr most recent post is part of your usual gardening attire, crikey I’ll warn the neighbours!!

I’m jealous – I want to nose around Belinda’s, too! Her house looks fantastic. Wonder if she’ll make you some of her amazing chocolate cake. Glad you are well and amongst the beautiful people again. x
