This collection is a collection of ten varieties of seeds that can be directly sown into the soil in mid April…a little earlier in the south west and a little later north of the border. These ten super stars will produce a particularly abundant flower patch which will produce flowers from June until the first sharp frosts. I you have a modest area for a flower patch of say…10 meters by one meter then you will be able to share this collection with a couple of friends.
All the seeds are hardy annuals…this makes them pretty tough and they can take a frost. If you kept some seeds back, you can make another sowing in early September and they will flower earlier the following year.
The collection has been discounted by 20% of the collective price of the individual packets, it has free shipping and is Christmas wrapped.
NB The accompanying photo is a bed made up of mainly hardy annuals, though the varieties do not exactly represent those in this collection. Thank you to Rosie McKerrell for the photo…this was her first attempt at growing Higgledy Flowers…splendid stuff!
