Nigella ‘Oxford Blue’
I am presently trundling along in my narrowboat, Casper…en route to the wonderful city of Oxford. This will be the first major city I will have visited thus far on my narrowboat adventure…so I thought I should mark the occasion. Nigella is a firm favourite of the cottage garden fans and Nigella ‘Oxford Blue’ is a diamond.
Easy to grow and will happily self-seed if you let it.
*Height 50 cm
*400ish seeds in a pack
*Sow March-May & September-October. Sow where they are to grow as they hate root disturbance and thin out seedlings to about 10 inches apart. I sow mine when the ground has warmed up in April..a latter on in May and a final on in September.
