60g of mixed seeds for a ‘Bee Friendly’ flower meadow.
£19.50£15.60
Not to be confused with ‘Bee Friendly Cut Flower patch’, which is ten packets of different flower seeds that can be sown in rows if desired. This is a much larger amount of seeds in one mix which can be broadcast sown on a weed free piece of bare earth.
The optimum sowing time is the end of April or beginning of May.
The mix includes Phacelia, Borage, Cornflowers, Nigella, Cosmos and Larkspur.
This packet contains 60g of flower seeds which is sufficient to cover 20 sq meters. Ensure your ground is totally free of weeds and broken up to a fine tilth. Sow the seeds evenly over the ground during late April or May. Gently firm them into the soil with the back of a rake. Water gently. Flowers will start to bloom from early summer.
This makes a wonderful eco-chic gift….but then I would say that, wouldn’t I. ;)
