Centaurea Cynus – Cornflower ‘Classic Magic’.

Cornflower ‘Classic Magic’ is a wonderfully unpredictable mix of rich, moody shades—deep burgundy, mauve, chocolate, silvery white, and the occasional soft pink or blue. Each plant is a little different, making this variety perfect for adding depth and variety to your cutting patch or border.

A hardy annual that’s easy to grow and thrives in full sun and poor soil, ‘Classic Magic’ flowers for ages if regularly picked. The blooms are held on tall, wiry stems and are ideal for cutting, drying, or simply adding a wild, romantic touch to the garden. Bees love them too.

Sow seeds direct in autumn for early flowering, or from March to May for summer blooms. Thin to around 20cm apart and water in well. Deadheading or cutting will encourage more flowers.
