Gaura ‘The Bride’ has been the most asked for seed of this year, but I wasn’t able to stock it due to the poor seed stock available at the time. I now have found a delightful supplier who has seed stock so high in quality that it made my higgledy toes curl.
“‘The Bride’ is a graceful, long-flowering perennial with star-shaped blooms that emerge in early summer and persist until the first stages of autumn. Its wild, slightly unkempt look suits natural planting styles. Once established, it is well suited to warm summers and will soak up the sun.” The clever folk at the RHS
While Guara is a short lived perennial, it is often grown as an annual.
Flowers last a good ten days in the vase….and my Auntie Sally says they are ace.
