It’s that time of year when the world famous Higgledy Garden Sweet Pea bundle arrives on the shelves…oh happy days…do a little dance…jig a little jig…ring the church bells with gusto!
We have nine packets in this year’s bundle. For the most of us that will be plenty for both autumn sowing and spring sowing, with some leftover for our neighbours, if they have been well behaved. We have knocked 25% off the price and offer free shipping in plastic-free packaging.
Anne and I have scratched our heads (our own heads….not each other’s) and have chosen a range of varieties that not only offer wonderful scent but also offer a full range of colours….we think you will approve.
We sow Sweet Peas from October – March. There are growing guides for newbies on the blog. I find the easiest method is to sow in deep pots to a depth of about 1cm and plant out in April when the sharp frosts have naffed off.
