There are lots of new Cosmos varieties coming out at the moment but this one really seems to be standing out. Tried and tested in the garden of Higgledy Anne and she won’t stop going on about it so I relented and decided to give it a go.
This has a colour hard to describe, its a bit peachy, its a bit pinky and a little bit irridescent in some lights. It sort of shouldn’t work but it does. Plus the usual delightful ferny foliage. Goes really well with Phlox ‘Creme Brulee’, Nicotiana and Canterbury bells. Plus a big bunch of just Cosmos in all its varieties is hard to beat.
Seeds in Packet 30ish
Height: 100 cm
Sow undercover from early April or directly into the soil from mid May.
Cosmos ‘Apricotta’
